This is very good , "very good" doesn't really fit with the vibe so I'll say this brilliant ðŸ˜Ž , very hard not to like , reminds me of those Roaring Twenties dances.
Going to give this a strong 4/5 on one listen , I'll reserve 5/5 for an album that I buy . Will definitely play this again .

Its well recorded , lively and yes modern swing . The problem was I'm not  a fan of old swing either . So I've given it 2 stars but that's more down to my own personal taste than anything being wrong with it.

Has to be a 4/5 from me. I really can't quite get my head around the gibberish and rapping going on but I enjoy Jane's voice and think her singing should be more of a feature, and the horns are brilliant. It's a proper foot tapper for sure.

Like we said about a previous artist (bastile) I think a similar comment could be aimed at this Bristol based band that there has been little or no progression from their previous album which I also own.

It would have been 4/5 if only they'd get rid of the faux rapper. I really liked the singer's voice - it really suited the music which boped/swung along nicely. 3/5
